Civil marriage can be solemnized at Agia Napa Municipality according to the Marriage Law 101(I) of 2003. They can be solemnized between Cypriot citizens, Cypriots with foreigners and between foreigners. The ceremonies are performed either in Agia Napa Town Hall, at the gardens (Amphitheatre) of Agia Napa Town Hall or in authorized wedding venues.
The marriage ceremony is nice and simple and has a duration of 10 – 15 minutes at the end of which couple is given one original Certificate of Marriage signed by them, the witnesses and the marriage officer.
The interested parties after their arrival in Cyprus, must apply personally to the Marriage Officer of Agia Napa Municipality, in order to go through certain formalities which are necessary prior to their marriage and are valid for 3 months.

The wedding fee is fixed by the Ministry of the Interior €281.92 (subject to change according to the Law)
Paid in Euro cash for every couple whether they have a civil ceremony or religious wedding.

Agia Napa Municipality is able to issue Certified True Copies of the original marriage certificates.
The couple must present the passports of their witnesses (witnesses must be older that 18) on the registration appointment for civil ceremony. Copies of their passports are acceptable as well.
We do not accept only the passport numbers.
On the registration appointment the couples should be suitably dressed i.e. no swimwear or men without a t-shirt.
